ToolsLibrary ("we", "our", "us") operates the free online tools website at toolslibrary.net and the Android application ToolsLibrary (package name net.toolslibrary.app). This Privacy Policy explains what information is handled when you use our website and our Android app.

1. Who we are

ToolsLibrary provides free calculators and related utilities on the web and in the Android app. We do not require an account to use the core calculators described in this policy.

2. Scope

This policy covers the public website at toolslibrary.net and the ToolsLibrary Android app available via Google Play.

3. Website — information we process

Tool inputs. Most calculators, converters, formatters, CRM utilities, PDF tools, and games process data locally in your browser. We do not receive those inputs unless a specific tool states that a network request is required (for example an optional live service).

Local storage. Features such as favorites, calculator history, theme preference, and game progress may store data in your browser (localStorage / IndexedDB). You can clear this anytime via your browser settings.

Contact. If you email us or submit a contact form, we receive the details you choose to send (such as name, email, and message) so we can reply.

Technical logs. Like most websites, hosting or analytics providers may process standard request metadata (such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed) for reliability, security, and aggregate product improvement.

4. Website — cookies, analytics & advertising

We may use essential cookies or local storage for preferences (for example dark mode and tool history). We do not sell personal information.

Analytics. The website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic and improve the product. Google Analytics may collect standard usage data according to Google's policies.

Advertising (Google AdSense). The website is configured for Google AdSense (publisher ID ca-pub-7908951221198029, disclosed in ads.txt). When ads are shown, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies under Google's settings and applicable law.

5. Android app — calculator inputs

The Android app's calculators (including ESTA Score, BMI, Age, Percentage, GPA/CGPA, and Tip) process your entries on the device. Calculator inputs and results are kept in temporary in-app memory for the current session. The app does not upload calculator inputs to ToolsLibrary servers.

If you use Share or Copy on a result, the shared text leaves the app only through the Android system share sheet or clipboard that you choose to use.

6. Android app — advertising (Google AdMob) & consent (UMP)

The Android app shows banner ads using Google AdMob. Before ads are requested, the app uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request and show a consent form when required.

When ads are allowed, Google AdMob and related Google advertising services may process advertising-related information on Google's systems, which can include advertising identifiers, device and app information, and IP/network-related information needed to serve ads. ToolsLibrary does not sell your personal information and does not attach calculator inputs to ad requests in the app code.

7. Android app — network connectivity detection

The app checks whether the device has a validated internet connection so it can show an offline notice and avoid requesting ads while offline. This uses Android connectivity APIs on the device. The app does not implement its own IP geolocation lookup for this feature.

8. Android app — Google Play in-app updates

The app may use Google Play's in-app update APIs to check for and apply updates distributed through Google Play. The app stores only a local timestamp used to avoid prompting too frequently for flexible updates.

9. Android app — links to toolslibrary.net

The app can open the ToolsLibrary website (and this Privacy Policy) in your device's external browser using Android's standard browser intent. The app does not use an in-app WebView for these links.

10. Accounts

The Android app does not provide a ToolsLibrary user account or sign-in for the calculators described above.

11. How we use information

We use information to operate and improve ToolsLibrary, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, show advertising where applicable, deliver app updates through Google Play, and communicate about the product when you contact us. We do not sell your personal data.

12. Sharing & third-party services

We may share limited data with infrastructure providers strictly to run the service, or when required by law. Independent third-party services used where active include Google Analytics, Google AdSense, Google AdMob, Google User Messaging Platform, and Google Play. Those services process data under their own terms and privacy policies.

13. Retention & deletion

Website local data remains in your browser until you clear site data. Support emails are retained as needed to handle your request. Android calculator session data is discarded when you leave the tool flow, reset/close the tool, or the app process ends. An Android update-prompt timestamp remains in local app storage until cleared by uninstalling the app or clearing app storage.

14. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to a free tools product. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

15. Children

ToolsLibrary is a general-audience product. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

16. Your choices

Clear website site data in your browser to remove local history and favorites. On Android, you can clear app storage, adjust advertising ID settings, and respond to consent prompts where shown. Email support@toolslibrary.net with privacy questions.

17. Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change when we do.
