ESTA Score Calculator

Estimate Establishment (ESTA) Code recruitment merit used with ETEA CBT tests in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The calculator applies the implemented academic percentage-band chart for one of five qualification cases, converts CBT marks to a 20-point contribution, and optionally adds interview marks. It is an unofficial planning aid, not a clinical score, diagnosis, eligibility decision, or official merit result.

How to Use the ESTA Score Calculator

Estimate KP ETEA/ESTA recruitment merit using the qualification case and marks required by the implemented chart.

  1. Select the qualification case that matches the post’s required education path.
  2. Enter obtained and total marks for every academic component shown. Matric and Intermediate totals default to 1100 but are editable.
  3. Enter CBT marks out of 100. The result updates automatically and converts them to a contribution out of 20.
  4. Optionally enter interview marks out of 10; leave the field blank to review merit out of 90 before interview.
  5. Review each percentage band, awarded academic points, CBT contribution, warnings, and the final total. Verify the result against the current advertisement.

Methodology, example, and interpretation

For each academic component, percentage = obtained marks ÷ total marks × 100. The selected case’s six fixed bands award the displayed points; points are not interpolated within a band. CBT contribution = CBT marks ÷ 100 × 20. Final merit = academic band points + CBT contribution + interview marks when entered.

In the Intermediate case, Matric 850/1100 and Intermediate 900/1100 receive their case-specific band points; CBT 70/100 contributes 14 points and an interview score of 8 contributes 8. The total is an estimate of the implemented merit formula, not a ranking or selection probability.

Mistakes, limitations, and privacy

This is a Pakistan recruitment-merit calculator, not a medical or clinical screening instrument. It does not verify documents, eligibility, quotas, policy changes, or final departmental merit. Inputs are calculated in the browser and the selected case may be remembered locally; do not enter names, roll numbers, or other personal identifiers.

  • Selecting a case based on extra qualifications rather than the qualification path required by the post.
  • Using CGPA percentage as if it were marks percentage.
  • Leaving an academic component blank and reading the partial display as a completed result.
  • Assuming the 40/100 CBT warning settles official pass/fail rules.

FAQ

What is the ESTA marks distribution?

The implemented merit total is 70 academic marks from qualification-specific percentage bands, 20 proportional CBT marks, and up to 10 interview marks.

How is CBT converted to 20 marks?

CBT contribution = marks obtained out of 100 ÷ 100 × 20. For example, 70 becomes 14 merit points. The tool flags scores below its typical 40/100 reference but does not make an official pass/fail decision.

Which qualification case should I pick?

Choose the case matching the qualification path required for the post: Matric, Intermediate, 14-year BA/BSc/Associate, 16-year MA/MSc (12+2+2), or 16-year BS (12+4). Confirm the correct case in the advertisement.

Is this the official ETEA calculator?

No. This is an unofficial recruitment-merit estimate. It does not determine eligibility, selection, or final merit; verify the advertisement and current ETEA or department policy.

Can I use CGPA to receive academic band marks?

No. The implemented ESTA charts award academic points from marks percentage. Degree CGPA can be entered only for reference and produces a prompt to switch to obtained and total marks.

What happens if I leave interview marks blank?

The calculator shows pre-interview merit out of 90 and treats the interview as not entered. Add a value from 0 to 10 to see the total including interview.

Are academic points interpolated within a percentage band?

No. Each component receives the fixed point value for the matching implemented percentage band, such as 80–89.99%. Scores inside the same band receive the same academic points.

Does the calculator need personal or medical information?

No. It only needs academic marks, CBT marks, and optional interview marks. It is a recruitment-merit calculator, not a clinical screening instrument.
